Whoa...it's been a year.

Hello all,

I realize that it has been over a year since my last post. Sheesh...time flies. Last year was a good one. The girls are growing up and are becoming older (Graycie is a pre-teen, GULP) and more and more talented all the time. Graycie played volleyball last year and is really enjoying that. Kenzie spent a lot of her time taking swimming lessons. She is a good little swimmer. This summer was  a little more low key than our usual summer load. We enjoyed swimming in our community pool, and the girls took summer swim lessons. The major highlight this summer was Kenzie's baptism! Kenzie got baptized on August 5th. We were so blessed to have some very special visitors in town for Kenzie's baptism, as well as our families. It was a beautiful day, and the spirit was very strong. It is definitely a day that our family will never forget. Thank you for all who helped to make it possible! We love you.

The girls just started another school year! I can't believe it. Kenzie began her adventures in 3rd grade, while Graycie started 6th grade and entered middle school this year! So far that transition has been a bit rough, middle school is a whole different ball game than elementary school. Hopefully she will settle in and things will get easier for her. Kenzie has also had her trepidations about 3rd grade, but she is muscling through. She would just rather stay home with me! :)

Fall is in the air here in Colorado Springs and we are getting excited for the change in colors, smells, and all the fun Holiday's that come with Fall. Kenzie has decided she will be a zombie for Halloween this year, Graycie is still trying to decide. As of right now she is debating between a crayon, a gumball machine, or a mouse. Guess we will see......
