We are still alive!

Hello World,

Sticking with tradition, it has been a long time since I have posted anything to the blogging world. A LOT has been going on these days. Graycie just wrapped up her 3rd grade year. She is gaining confidence and enjoying new things (like volleyball and swing dancing). She is making new friends and becoming a pre-teen (gulp).

Kenzie just graduated from kindergarten (sigh). She was so excited to graduate and often says "I have been waiting my whole life to graduate!" Her class and the other kindergarten classes had an adorable program for graduation day. Kenzie sang her songs for weeks.

Both girls got to participate in field day this year. We have had the craziest weather lately. It has been a soggy, raining mess all spring. It was a miracle that they even attempted field day. The field was a soggy mess so only 3-5 grade got to go up on the field. The little kids had to make do with the gym and the hallways for field day. It didn't dampen their spirits and they both really enjoyed it.

Our family just got back from a camping trip in Glenwood Springs. We met my parents there and had a good time hiking up to hanging lake, and fourwheeling the next day. Ta-Ta (what the grandkids call my dad...weird, I know) brought his new side by side. The girls fought over who would get to sit in it first, and enjoyed riding it.

This summer will be full of fun adventures....I will keep you posted. For now, enjoy the pics.

It was a tough hike for little legs...Kenzie was tired.
We rode the fourwheelers to Crystal, Co. coolest old mining town.
This was the big hit of the trip, Grandpa's new side by side.
