Our favorite stops were Cinque Terre Italy and Switzerland and Austria. Cinque Terre was one of the most amazing sights we have ever seen. We were high high high in the mountains and right on the coast of the beautiful mediterranean sea. We hiked from one tiny little town into the next, through farmers fields set high on the mountain side. It seemed like the city hasn't changed since it was built, it's frozen in time.
Switzerland is breathtaking. We saw the matterhorn from our train window. We rode through the Swiss countryside and saw beautiful sparkling swiss houses and tidy little farms. It was wonderful and it made me homesick for Neola.
And Austria was incredible too, it was similar to Switzerland. Salzburg is surrounded by mountains covered in wildflowers and lush green grass. There are beautiful lakes with sparkling clear water, you can see right down to the bottom.
We highly recomend taking a trip so you can all see for yourself.
